April 2, 2007 - New Thimbleberries Collections Many of you have asked us about the two new Thimbleberries Cotton Quilting Thread collections and we finally have some information for you: The new collections are called "Light and Bright" and "Warm and Cozy" and consist of 6 spools each. These new collections, however, are made up from the existing 24 Thimbleberries colors so there's nothing new to add to your stash. (Sorry!) But we've updated our product page for Thimbleberries to indicate which colors are part of two new collections for those of you looking for those collections specifically. May 20, 2006 - Black Bobbin Thread, New King Spool Rack We now carry Robison-Anton Filament Polyester Bobbin Thread in black as well as white. 1100 yard Mini-King Spools. Robison-Anton has re-designed their King Spool thread rack - we're now carrying the new 16-spool King Thread Rack and we think this is a much better design - the rack looks pretty much like the mini-king thread racks, only sized for your King spools. You can hang it on the wall or use the folding legs to store it on a table top.

June 22, 2005 - Robison-Anton 24-Spool "Random" Assortments We now have a very limited supply of 24-spool "Random" assortments in both Rayon and Polyester. Robison-Anton is liquidating their supply of the older "non-snap" base spools, and have made up these 24-spool assortments as a way to clear out their inventory. The thread is the same high quality as the rest of our thread, but it comes on the older style spools that don't have a snap bottom base. Each assortment contains 1 spool of Black and one spool of Snow White, but the other 22 colors are a completely random selection out of the entire collection of solid colors. April 23, 2005 - Filament Polyester Bobbin Thread
In response to customer requests, we've added Robison-Anton Filament Polyester Bulkd Bobbin Thread in the 1100 yd Mini-King Spool. This is an excellent quality filament polyester bobbin-weight thread, comparable to the thread used on NEB Predwound bobbins. Robison-Anton Filament Polyester Bobbin Thread We now carry a great disappearing ink marking pen, which we find indespensible around the sewing room - it's great for marking the position of your embroidery hoop and for transferring quilting patterns to fabric. Best thing is that the marks disappear in about 3 days.
April 20, 2005 - Robison-Anton "Swirling Sensations" Thread Over the last couple of months, many customers have asked if we carry the new "Swirling Sensations" line of embroidery thread from Robison-Anton. That line is being made available exclusively to Viking sewing machine dealers only; since we're not a sewing machine dealer, we can't get the thread. Sorry!
April 2, 2005 - Thread Nets Several customers have contacted us looking for a way to keep their thread from "unraveling" off of the spool when they put it up for storage. Robison-Anton has solved that problem by way of the new "Snap Spool" base -- the lower portion of the base snaps open and you can pinch the free end of the thread in the base when you snap it back closed. Many of you still have the older style Robison-Anton thread spools that don't have the snap base, so we've added a new plastic thread net product that will solve your runaway thread problems once and for all. Take a look and try some for yourself!
March 15, 2005 - 505 Spray and Fix Temporary Fabric Adhesive For those of you who have been looking for a temporary fabric adhesive spray, we're now carrying 505 Spray and Fix in an 8.5 oz can. This adhesive is perfect for temporarily gluing stabilizer to fabric and for adhering machine quilting patterns to fabric.
